The idea for this series was formulated as a self-portrait. But this woman could be anyone. It is a celebration of femininity and captures the organic shapes of the female body, hugged by the curves of the gently rippled water that frame her. She rests unapologetically nude in the water, lit by the red moon behind her.
The colours are simple to emphasise her form and the shading has been carefully stippled with individual dots.
